Ethylene absorbers play a vital role in many industrial fields. To ensure their performance and safety, strict testing procedures are essential. The following is a detailed introduction to the testing process of ethylene absorbers.

First of all, before conducting ethylene absorber testing, you need to make adequate preparations. The tester should be familiar with the relevant technical information of the absorber, including design drawings, operation manuals, etc., and understand its working principle, structural composition and performance parameters. At the same time, prepare the necessary testing tools and instruments, such as pressure gauges, flow meters, gas analyzers, etc., to ensure that these instruments are calibrated and can work properly.

After preparation, enter the appearance inspection link. Carefully observe the shell and pipeline of the ethylene absorber to check whether there are obvious damage, deformation, corrosion, etc. Check whether the sealing parts are intact and whether there are any signs of leakage. For fasteners such as bolts and nuts at the connection parts, check whether they are loose. This link can preliminarily judge the overall condition of the absorber and find some obvious problems.

Next is gas flow detection. By connecting the gas flow meter, measure the gas flow at the inlet and outlet of the ethylene absorber. Compare the design flow value to determine whether the absorber has problems such as blockage or leakage. If the flow rate deviates significantly from the design value, it may mean that there is an internal fault and further inspection is required.

Pressure detection is also a key step. Connect a pressure gauge at the key part of the absorber to measure its inlet and outlet pressures and internal pressure changes. Normal pressure distribution is a manifestation of good absorber performance. If the pressure fluctuates abnormally or the difference is too large, it may be caused by pipeline blockage, valve failure or absorbent failure.

Gas composition analysis is also an indispensable link. Use a gas analyzer to analyze the composition of the gas entering and leaving the ethylene absorber to detect whether the absorption efficiency of ethylene meets the requirements. If the absorption effect of ethylene is not good, it may be that the activity of the absorbent is reduced or there are other influencing factors. It is necessary to find the cause and make adjustments.

Finally, the test results are comprehensively analyzed and evaluated. According to the test data of each link, it is judged whether the performance of the ethylene absorber meets the standard. If problems are found, corresponding solutions should be proposed according to the specific situation, such as cleaning the pipeline, replacing seals, replenishing or replacing absorbents, etc.

The detection process of ethylene absorbers is a systematic and rigorous process. Through strict testing, problems with the absorber can be discovered in time to ensure its normal operation, improve production efficiency, and ensure safe production. In industrial production, we should attach great importance to the testing of ethylene absorbers, operate in strict accordance with the specifications, and provide strong guarantees for the smooth progress of industrial production.
